TEA ESTATES
The KSRI group owns some of the finest tea gardens in North India - Our Tea Estate, located in the Darjeeling, Assam & Terai region produces both Black & Green Teas (Orthodox & CTC), The plantations consists of new tea bushes using the latest variety of clones well researched for yielding very good quality tea. The tea bushes are kept at their peak of health with loving care and constant monitoring. Modern cultivation techniques have been adopted with an emphasis on eco-friendliness. Integrated pest management is strictly followed which allows the use of only very safe pesticides and bio-pesticides.
The superior quality of teas is maintained due to stringent adherence to quality norms and the use of best possible inputs. The state of the art processing factory is equipped with the latest and most modern machines to enhance the unique characteristics of teas. Due to all this, our teas are today finding approval from even the most discerning buyer. Our annual production is more than one million Kgs of Black and Green tea. We believe it is a continual challenge to produce teas that reflect the real beauty of absolute perfection. This challenge obliges us at the same time to work with greater craftsmanship, to search with more patience and remain faithful to our company traditions, so that our teas are always the very best.

CTC
Crush, tear, curl (sometimes cut, tear, curl) is a method of processing black tea in which the leaves are passed through a series of cylindrical rollers with hundreds of sharp teeth that crush, tear, and curl the tea into small, hard pellets.
ORTHODOX TEA
These are tea leaves made with the traditional method of plucking, withering, rolling,oxidation and drying. They retain the authenticity of the tea leaves as well as having an impeccable mix of tea flavors. The production of this tea is handled very delicately.
GREEN TEA
Quite a common name in the tea world with dozens of health benefits, Green tea is made from unoxidized leaves and is one of the least processed types of tea. For this reason, it contains the most antioxidants and beneficial polyphenols.
WHITE TEA
White tea is known to be one of the most delicate tea varieties because it is so minimally processed. White tea is harvested before the tea plant’s leaves open fully, when the young buds are still covered by fine white hairs, hence the name “white” tea.
